The Word Hive is your collection of secret words. Each buzz round picks one eligible word from it. Add your own, load a built-in pack, or generate a batch — they all live in the same hive.

Open the Word Hive and type a word (at least three characters). Add an optional hint, then mark it for kids or grown-ups. You have full control — no forced categories.

Open a word in the Word Hive to change its text, hint, or audience. Delete one word at a time, or clear the hive if you want a fresh start.

Curated lists that ship with the app in all seven languages, for kids and for grown-ups. Each language gets its own words, picked to sound natural rather than translated. Adding a pack merges its words into your hive and skips anything you already have.

Tap Generate Words to add a fresh batch from curated lists. New words merge into your hive, skipping duplicates. They are editable and deletable like any word you typed yourself.

An optional short description shown with the secret word — for example, “Pizza — a food.” Bees see it so kids are not stuck. The BluffyBee never sees the hint.

During the reveal, skip it and the word stays in the hive, or remove it and it is deleted. The round restarts with a new word and does not count toward honey or stats.

Mark any player as a kid. The whole table then plays with kid-friendly words only. One kid means everyone plays safe — the filter applies to the session, not just that player.

Every word has an audience tag. Kid words are safe for young players. Grown-up words are for adult groups. If any kid is at the table, only kid words are eligible.

You control the words — no forced categories. Mark a kid and the hive stays clean. One device, no extra phones, works offline. A cute bee theme built for families, not dark spy vibes.

The one player who does not know the secret word. They must bluff their way through with a plausible hint. Everyone else is a Bee and tries to vote them out.

Pass the phone. Each player privately peeks behind a curtain. Bees see the word and its hint. The BluffyBee sees only their role. Same screen and same sound for everyone — nothing leaks across the table.

Everyone votes in secret for who they think is bluffing. Most votes wins — a majority is not required. You may vote for yourself. Nobody can abstain, and no running tallies are shown.

Nobody is eliminated. Everyone votes again, with every active player still a candidate. Re-votes continue until there is a clear winner. There is never a random draw.

Yes — up to three times in a row, then the app picks someone else. Selection still feels random, so the table cannot count on a pattern.

Honey is the score. You earn it by winning a buzz round. It adds up through a hive session, and lifetime honey lives in the Hive Hall of Fame.

If the hive catches The BluffyBee, every surviving bee gets +1 honey. If The BluffyBee survives until two players remain, they get +3. High risk, high reward for the bluffer.

A lifetime leaderboard on the phone. It tracks total honey, buzz rounds played, times as The BluffyBee, times caught, win rate, and best streak — sorted by honey.

Yes. Free to start with a generous number of rounds. No ads, no subscription. When you are ready, one optional purchase unlocks unlimited play forever.

Yes. One family member buys the unlock and everyone in the Family Sharing group — up to six people — gets it at no extra cost.

Add a name (up to 16 characters), pick a bee avatar from 20 unique designs, and toggle the kid flag if needed. Players are saved on the device across sessions.

On your device. Player names, custom words, honey, and game statistics stay on the phone. We don’t upload them to BluffyBee servers — there is no cloud sync and no game account. Crash reports and anonymized usage analytics may be sent to Google when a network is available; see the Privacy Policy.

Delete individual players or words from within the app. There is no single “reset all” button. To wipe everything, uninstall BluffyBee — that removes on-device data.

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Slovenian. The app UI and the built-in word packs are available in every one of them, and BluffyBee picks your language automatically on first launch.
