Who we are

BluffyBee is provided by Playground d.o.o., a company established in Slovenia (EU).

Statutory company particulars required under the Slovenian Companies Act (registered office, registration number / matična številka, court of registration, and share capital) are available from the Slovenian Business Register (AJPES) and on request at info@bluffybee.com.

Scope

This policy covers:

No accounts

We do not require user accounts or registration. We do not operate a game backend that stores your player names or scores on our servers for gameplay.

What we store on your device

Web

Language preference and analytics consent in the browser (localStorage).

This website is a landing page. It does not run the game or keep player lists.

iOS

Player profiles, words, scores, and stats on device (e.g. SwiftData / UserDefaults).

No cloud game account sync required to play.

You can clear web data via browser settings; on iOS, uninstalling the app removes on-device app data (subject to OS behavior).

Analytics and crash reporting

Web — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

Google Analytics: used to understand aggregate traffic and usage.

Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and session-level identifiers to produce heatmaps and session recordings. This data is pseudonymous and can still be personal data under GDPR. It is loaded only after you consent.

Loaded only after you opt in via the site’s analytics consent control.

If you decline, Analytics and Clarity are not loaded.

iOS — Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Analytics records usage events (for example screens opened, games started or completed, and purchase-funnel steps) plus a few app-level properties such as language, whether unlimited play is unlocked, and whether a session includes a kid player. It uses an app-instance / device identifier. It does not upload player names, custom words, honey, or Hall of Fame stats.

Firebase Crashlytics sends crash and stability reports (stack traces, device and OS information, and a few diagnostic keys such as the current screen) so we can fix bugs. We do not set a Crashlytics user ID.

Documented in App Store Privacy Nutrition Labels when the app is submitted.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers at this time.

Third-party processors and international transfers

When you accept analytics on the website, or use the iOS app, limited diagnostic and usage data may be processed by these service providers:

Google LLC — Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. Data may be processed in the EU and the United States under Google’s data processing terms and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity on the website only, and only after you opt in. Data is processed under Microsoft’s Data Processing Agreement.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

Purchases (iOS)

The iOS app is free to download. After a generous number of free rounds, a one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited play. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details; Apple’s terms and privacy practices apply to payment processing.

Children and age rating

BluffyBee is intended as a family-friendly game. Expected App Store age rating: 4+. No restricted content. Parents/guardians should supervise device use for young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for accounts (there are no accounts).

Legal bases and region

Playground d.o.o. is established in the EU (Slovenia). Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

Website Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: your consent. Scripts load only after you accept.
Firebase Crashlytics (app): our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and fixing crashes. This is limited to crash and diagnostic data. You may object by emailing us.
Firebase Analytics (app): our legitimate interest in understanding product usage so we can improve BluffyBee. Events are not used for advertising. You can turn this off in the app under Settings, or object by emailing us.

We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of personal data; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; to data portability where applicable; and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Contact info@bluffybee.com. For web analytics, declining or withdrawing consent stops further Analytics and Clarity loading on that browser (you may also clear site data).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si) if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

Retention

On-device / browser storage: until you clear it or uninstall
Google Analytics (website): 14 months
Microsoft Clarity (website): 13 months
Firebase Analytics (app): 14 months
Firebase Crashlytics (app): 90 days

Changes

We may update this policy. The Last updated date will change when we do. Material changes to tracking will be reflected here and in consent UI / App Privacy labels as needed.
